By the way my sister in law pulled a Book Cliffs rifle deer tag from the sportsmans expo in SLC. If I remember right you were also trying to pull that tag. It was her first try. Don't worry, I told her that she sucked.

Oregon was seeking volunteers to help with their counts again this spring. By the time I got around to call, it was too late. They said they had enough people signed up already. I must be a real dufus if I got rejected as a volunteer.

Yep, that's what they do. We've still got three feet of snow on some of our leks right now.

When Blue Mesa Reservoir first began filling, the sage-grouse strutted out on the ice, over the areas the leks used to be. Amazing....
