I think I bought the one in the picture in '99 or 2000 and it is the 10' model. For one person, dog and decoys; I wouldn't go smaller. At 62#s, I can throw it over my shoulder and get to lots of places bigger boats can't launch.

Boat is very stable. 90% of the time I am standing and paddling. I can be standing and help lift the dog in the boat without tipping

Just paint. Not very often do I hunt from the boat. Usually just hide it and sit on a marsh chair.
