What lens are you using? I forget if you are a Ccanon guy or Nikon?

Agreed! It almost looks like there is a tag wrapped around the right leg.

Actually I did find a mountain plover this morning with a few bands. Bird would let me get close, so doubt the picture turned out well. Hopefully I can get the colors and order from the pic and pass it along.

You using anything like a better beamer? or just going with natural light?
