Favorite Whisky(ey), Bourbon, Scotch, Gin, Cigar, Pipe Tobacco, etc

Scotch and Bourbon for me. Favorite scotch is Lagavulin 12. Bourbon fluctuates and is enjoyed more frequently than scotch. Generally hard to go wrong with Buffalo Trace for that.

When I drank, I would splurge on:

Double Cross Vodka (Tito's for a house vodka)

Jefferson Reserve Bourbon (Eagle Rare for a house bourbon)

The Botanist Gin

Pusser's British Navy Gunpowder Proof Rum

Glenmorangie 18 year old Scotch

i've been digging Bibb and Tucker whiskey lately. pretty smooth but good flavor, at least for me lol

Love you guys and I mean that. Scotch and cigars and an occasional off color comment. Miss those days around the campfire, fireplace, or "Gilly's"

" Those were the days my friend, we thought they would never end"

Anyway, if a girl is allowed: I always liked Dry martinis, so Gin, but no specific brand. Enjoyed Brandy -- Torres Jaime I 30. Also enjoyed --The Tragedy of Lord George.

this is the part you will love. One of the reasons I choose those brands is because I liked the looks of the bottles in our home --typical female. But, the taste and smell was not bad either ;)

And of course wine. Mainly Red and Dessert and there were several in the Canary Islands that I grew fond of. But I also love French wines as well as a couple from Italy. There are also some wine made in Montana that I hope to enjoy soon.

I was not an alcoholic, but I did enjoy a martini before dinner, wine with dinner and a Brandy after dinner--just to be polite to our guests ;)

Please excuse the intrusion gentleman. but please someone, anyone, add a good cigar or two to one of your posts:)

and yes--the aroma from a pipe can be as nice as the aroma form a cigar

The fun thing about pancreatitis is that you have a 500% higher likelihood of getting pancreatic cancer when you smoke. So, along with the booze, the tobacco had to go.

But I liked the Macanudo Cafe, the Arturo Fuente Magnum Rosado.

When I'm feeling rich I drink Blanton's

But I usually drink Buffalo Trace, 4 Roses, or the High West American Prairie Bourbon.

Tragedy of Lord George.

I had never heard of it April, but yes everyone should have that bottle in their man cave, full or empty;)

nothing to report from the North. as I do not partake

From @Europe - Tres Appropos

Once upon a time there was a tavern
Where we used to raise a glass or two
Remember how we laughed away the hours
And think of all the great things we would do
Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
For we were young and sure to have our way
La la la la la la
La la la la la la
La la la la La la la la la la
Then the busy years went rushing by us
We lost our starry notions on the way
If by chance I'd see you in the tavern
We'd smile at one another and we'd say
Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
Those were the days, oh yes those were the days
La la la la la la
La la la la la la
La la la la La la la la la la
Just tonight I stood before the tavern
Nothing seemed the way it used to be
In the glass I saw a strange reflection
Was that lonely woman really me
Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
Those were the days, oh yes those were the days
La la la la la la
La la la la la la
La la la la La la la la la la
la la la la la la
La la la la la la
La la la la La la la la la la
Through the door there came familiar laughter
I saw your face and heard you call my name
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same
Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
Those were the days, oh yes those were the days
La la la la la la
La la la la la la
La la la la La la la la la la
La la la la la la
La la la la la la
La la la la La la la la la la
