I’ve got the Pronghorn bug pretty bad and have never even seen one in the wild yet. Hoping to get drawn in WY this year. I’d like to see some of your favorite pictures, dead or alive.

That’s got to be a really cool experience. Is the ranch still in the family, or permission from the new owners?

I wish I could say it's still in the family but it is not. They homesteaded on the place. I know then new owners well and have known the for years.

Here are a few from Wyoming that are my favorites. Both from Central Wyoming. Sorry for bad quality, had to copy them over from my Instagram, as the originals are in a back up file.

A previous HT post showing Wilderness Rafting with the Boys featured these two characters on a log raft in the Pintars fishing, when they were a few years younger. They are cousins and both high school seniors, studying remotely, sheltering in place ... and obviously enjoying the senior year spring freedom. The one with the fish is my grandson, fisherman and team roper who has a rodeo scholarship to Montana State starting in the fall. His cousin is an avid fisherman and Red Lodge star athlete, who is uncertain where he will study next fall ... but for certain it will be somewhere near good fishing and hunting.
