Going out tomorrow for F.E. Warren Antelope hunt. First tag was filled last week. Went out to register, checked it out, and one hour later on my first stalk, I took down a doe. One of four tags filled. No picture of that. Went out today to kind of scout another section of the HMA and spotted a really nice buck, atleast 16 inch tall, looks like good prongs. Backed out and going in with my bow this morning. I was shopping at the commissary today so I didn't have my bow with me or my camera. Tomorrow taking my DLSR camera with me so I can get some pictures.

New images of today's hunt. I could not get anywhere near close enough, or the herds were too close to the housing area and outside the HMA boundaries and illegal to shoot. I need too get a bow mounted deecoy. LOL

Thie above herd was right on the boundary of the HMA just north the Dry Creek.

These would of been some dead antelope if it was legal to use a rifle on base. LOL Fuzzy picture but the buck feeding was a pretty nice one.

The Air Force Natural Resources people put out hay bails to use as blinds I am getting some military camo netting to put over them and cut shooting holes in it. Going to try the blind method this weekend. If you looked close in my images, there are some decent bucks in that herd. I will be in a blind right smack north of Dry Creek which is the southern most limits of the HMA.

My BIL house used to back right up to base and I'd watch the pronghorn right from his backyard. Can any active duty members get a tag there?

No firearms allowed don base. Has to be compound or long bow only. But I will be in a blind next to a haystack they pass by at close range this weekend. If these herds were where I could shoot with a rifle I would of had all 4 tags filled right now.
I hope you fill the freezer!

They are right up to the fence by the housing development next to the base and on the grounds of the base housing itself. Problem I had was trying to figure out ideal way of hunting them with a bow. And I figured that out. Two things I can do is get a decoy or get a blind. I am buying both and maybe one of them funny pronghorn hats that Randy wore in a couple of his videos LOL.' I got within 25 yards last week but yesterday, closest I could get is 100 yards.
