Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Labrador Retriever Colors

I grew up with a few blacks and a few chocolates. Folks had a fox red back in the late 80s/early 90s. I faintly remember her, must have been about 3 yrs old. She was absolutely stunningly beautiful. If I ever get a lab, I'd like to have a red.
Silver labs and the folks that breed them should all be shot to the moon.

Howie just turned 1 year old last week. His dad is extremely red in color. His mother looks about like him, not full red but not yellow either. He's been a great dog but did go through some major shoulder surgery at 6 months. He recovered really well. The Corgi is a month older and still a little butthole.

This gal grew up too quick, but there's still plenty of pup left in her. Final picture is the company I get while studying for the physical therapy board exam.

I used to own bluetick coonhounds, but the days of me chasing ringtails at night are over. Moved to labs. Have 2 black labs, both English style. First pic is from our summer vacation last year to Wyoming, 2nd pic is the day we brought Finn home. That pretty much shows his personality still.
