Found this euro holder idea online, then added a little to it. Only cost a couple bucks for the bare bracket. Then whatever kind of wood you want to use.
Basically take a 4 inch bracket, mount it where you want the skull, bend it down to about 45 degrees. Put a 1/4 carriage bolt through the top hole with a nut on each side of the bracket.
What I added for my elk was a piece of maple between the top nut and bracket. This looks good and gives the elk teeth something to grab to keep the rack from tipping over.
