Epic field hunt

My buddy, his son and I had a field hunt to remember last night. Thousands of birds wanting into the decoys... for some reason there's still some snow geese around SW MT and even they wanted into the decoys. I managed to find my first blue...a juvi but ill take it

A mature blue is perhaps the prettiest of North American geese. I have shot several. If I ever decide to have a bird mounted it may be one of those and a shelf model so those beautiful striped back feathers aren't staring at the ceiling.

That looks like a blast! I didn't get the decoys out in MT but I pass shot a few birds, and jumped a few more. Geese were everywhere up there!
