I've heard many good things. Only real gripe from several people was the weight.A borrowed BOG Deathgrip Tripod...

I have one and like this stocks ergonomics but if Im being honest.Became a big fan of my Browning X Bolt Long Range Pro in .300 Win mag. It is heavy enough to not recoil badly and the stock is ergonomic enough that the weight of carrying it is enjoyable. Probably toted it around 40 miles this season. View attachment 354488
Can I take a stab at it?240k miles. For 140k it got my business up and running more like an f250 than a tundra. In the fall it was more of a sxs than a tundra. Not sure exactly what failed yet but blew a spark plug out and there is fuel in the oil.
Glad it’s not just me, I use that on my 8x30’s and 10x42’s. I just haven’t found a chest rig I was happy to wear all the timeWorked:
- Rick Young bino harness: as much as I like the idea of keeping my binoculars protected in a padded bino pack, the Rick Young just works. It is simple and low profile. I used to think it was only good with really lightweight binos (under 20 oz), but I used it extensively with some binos that were closer to 30 oz and was comfortable the whole time.
Aluminum one is really noisy too. I never realized how much quieter carbon legs are on a tripod until I packed one of of the aluminum bog pods around this fallI've heard many good things. Only real gripe from several people was the weight.
Be careful with the Buffalo Bores. I blew the chamber clean out of a LoneWolf barrel in my G43 shooting 9mm hardcasts. Buffalo Bore told me to pound sand and pointed to an article on their website saying their loads are not safe for aftermarket Glock barrels, in spite of the page for that load stating it is "is safe to use in any/all 9mm chambered pistols that are in normal operating condition." LoneWolf took care of me and, I believe subsequent to my purchase, now has a disclaimer that their G43 barrels are not +P rated.I love mine. Glad I went that way. Shooting Buffalo Bore 190 monos when carried in the woods. mtmuley

Maybe most surprising was Glock's customer service. Even though no fault of their own, they took in my pistol under warranty, assessed the damage, replaced all the small parts and sent it back to me.

I wish I could find a lightweight replacement for the stock with a similar form. I know mcmillan made x bolt stocks at one time but I don't see them listed on their website anymore. I have called mcmillan twice and have yet to receive a call back.
Anyone know of opinions for an x bolt stock?
