Energy development and wildlife habitat

Yup, In some people's minds that's about the only justification. I'm not so sure though. Depends on how much you love hunting and fishing on public lands. That's my favorite outdoor recreation.

Looking at the mess Dubya has created in Iraq, it's debatable whether he was the lesser of two evils.

HMMMM. Craig says it's biased. Ithaca thinks it's great. I didn't even bother to read it and know it's a POS. BTW no discussion on my middle of the road Rick Bass article either. Is that because everyone agrees with it, or the because the zealots don't want to debate common sense?

Bias, absolutely. Still some good info and it might generate some interesting disscussions.

I also said there was some good info. You might agree if you read it.;) :D

Ithaca, I voted for Bush twice. Not something I'm super happy with, but I'm okay with it. His environmental policies are terrible, no way around that, and we're in a bit of a mess in Iraq; but I still don't think Kerry or Gore would have been great leaders by any means. With the way our country is currently divided I'm hoping it can lead to real change in the two parties we're stuck with to hopefully start working for the people again.

Craig thanks for the article, its a good one.

I never voted for Clinton either, but looking back I think he was a very good President. Voted for Bush Senior twice, but never George Jr. I was right about him. 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

BHR, why don't you just read the actual study then, if you'd like to skip the article from the folks that have already drawn their own conclusions.

Spin or non-spin (to use a phrase in my industry) you can't help but to see/notice the effects from the eye in the sky! I liked the commentary about the migration corridors...you would think that would wake a few people up?
