Elk hunt in utah

Hello!

I’m am new to the group and love the info that people have and all the great support from one hunter to the next! I am looking into some OTC archery elk hunts in Utah and have done a lot of e-scouting to try and dial in some areas! I am an off the wall hunter and love to hike out in no mans lands far from anything and back pack camp in! If I could get a little better insite on some good out of the way locations that take the efforts of a determined hunter to get there it would be much appreciated! Thank you for any efforts!

Sounds like you would like north or south slopes in uintahs. True wilderness areas. Good luck out there

Even at 10K+ in the unitas it can be awfully hot during archery season so a plan to get an elk out is paramount.
But it is beautiful country and a you should have a great hunt there.

Yes! That it will be, I hunt Nevada and dang is it hot in August, so taking care of meet is always at the forefront. Thank you for the info!
