I killed my bull moose with my 30-06 with 180 grain accubonds. He took 4 steps and dropped dead. I'll have my 300wm with 180 grain fusions as a backup.

I'll say it again. Bring her by to take a turn behind the Camilla in 6.5 RPM.Some type of arrow with a qad exodus or slick trick broadhead on it
slight chance a 6.5 prc is used by my wife
I’ve got a prc coming home the middle of this month. Coworker had a deal I couldn’t refuseI'll say it again. Bring her by to the take the turn behind the Camilla in 6.5 RPM.
I hope it’s a 7 or a .300, those 6.5 bullets just bounce off elk.I’ve got a prc coming home the middle of this month. Coworker had a deal I couldn’t refuse
I might try and pull off a stunt shot and shoot a moose with it if I can draw the tagI hope it’s a 7 or a .300, those 6.5 bullets just bounce off elk.
How do you like the 185s out of your 338-06 compared to the 210s? I loaded 210s this year but have a box or two of 185s to try if I draw a mule deer tag.Same as last year. 338-06 with 185 gr TTSX and 308 win. with 150 gr. TSX are my go to elk rifles.

Classic European moose cartridge vs one that screams American excessI recently told @noharleyyet that I almost bought a 6.5x55 for my moose hunt in Wyoming. But, the @mtmuley in me won the struggle and I used a 300 RUM.
Man, this just reminds me I gotta get my loads to a chronograph. I’ve got a load for each bullet and I’m constantly back and forth on which makes more sense based on velocity estimations instead of actual velocity.@Sheltowee My rifle shoots both bullets well, but the 185 gr. likes near maxs loads around 2800 fps. and the 210 gr. shoots best at a mid-range load going around 2500 fps. So I have gone with the 185's. I'm sure the 210's would work just fine and takes advangage of the 338 diameter bullets a bit better.
