I don't care if people use a .223. Just not for me and how and where I hunt. Hell, now some guys are promoting tumbling bullets. Have at it. mtmuley

It'd be nice to be able to use a light weight AR15 I have, especially in trees/cover where shots would be short.

Just cant bring myself to do it- but it would work.

He used the tipped version. We were in a hurry to get the bull quartered up so didn't look for bullets. I'm gonna hike back in there and dig around for them when the snow allows access. mtmuley

I ran the numbers. Should get me to 1800 yds with sufficient energy. Nothing will get away.
