O.K. a bone to pick withall the non-resident Yankee's out here for the hunting season....we realize that we don't have many trees out here but SERIOUSLY does "tagging" our rocks while you're out here really make you feel more at home?

And just so you'll know we do have trees and if you really insist I can take you there. It's right purdy even if there are more birds out in the Sage.

We've lost most of our Mountain Quail....

theres still a remnant population in Eastern Washington and a marginally huntable population on the Westside but nothing like the numbers that we used to when I moved out here in the late 80's....

Oregon still has good numbers of them in the SW corner of the State...

Tarheel....

EASY....trees are GREEN and rocks are GRAY.....

And when a Northwesterner gets that "green lean" to defend a wolf he "hugs a rock" and not "tree"....

So...nope...no question..it was a Yankee, (that eliminates all the fine people from N.C.), for sure.......
