Last week I made the long trek from my home in NW Montana to Billings and points east to spend a few days hunting with my brother. We had drawn R7 antelope tags, and since the season overlapped general deer by a few weeks I had elected to wait to see if I could double up on a good goat and a nice mulie.
We spent the first afternoon glassing, turned up a few good bucks, and several had already lost one side. I was worried we had waited to long and would have to settle for a one horned buck.
the next day we lucked out and doubled on our biggest pronghorns so far!
The next day we hunted a large piece of Block management property, and we both harvested our largest mule deer bucks!
2 days, 4 great bucks, and memories to last a lifetime. Needless to say we are already planning a trip for next year!
