Red Wing. Although I may have been able to get some good shots by Winona too. My uncle had an eagle come down and steal one of the fish he had on the ice behind him in Winona this week!

So I went to try and get more eagle pictures yesterday. It was below zero and windy. With all the steam coming off the water, it made it very difficult to get any decent pictures. I didn't get any good eagle pictures, but I was happy to see a redhead! The last time I saw one of these guys was when I was going to school in North Dakota, so I feel fortunate that I had the camera!

The steam when there was a little break from it...

It was also interesting to see a mallard trying to eat a minnow.
