just listened to podcast.

Not my first exposure to his children across media...I think they are impressive individuals.

In my years on the planet, I've found that at least one reliable measure of a man is his adult children, how they carry themselves, their accomplishments, etc. In that regard, Mr. Trump is a standard-bearer.

I'm probably in the minority but he kind of seems like a douche. Love it when the rich kid says "I realized life isn't all about money".

You know that his mothers parents spent six months a year living in NY helping raise him and took him to Czechoslovakia every summer to hunt and fish right (This is in addition to a fleet of nannies)?

Kinda like I have to buy car insurance even though I've never been in an accident? Or pay taxes for roads I don't drive on? How is the health insurance mandate for Obamacare any different?

Well that's pretty simple, you don't have to have car insurance if you don't drive, and most if not all of road costs come from fuel and registration taxes.

But hey why not tax someone for living?? I've changed my mind, I've seen the light. Lets tax people for the carbon they exhale, lets give 80% of our earnings to the government.

Why should i have what i work for, things should be equal, people should have whatever they want. More importantly they should get it, for free...well free for them. It doesn't matter where it comes from, as long as "they" get it.

Why wouldn't i want to hand over my earnings for the greater good??? I think its a great idea, socialism is fantastic...equality is so awesome.

Bring on the 'Bern so we can all share the wealth and have everything we want. I think anyone that wants to keep their money is a capitalistic jerk, and should be shouted down!! How dare they act like we don't deserve what they have...

Thank goodness I've seen the light, and seen the folly of my ways.

I'm really not a huge fan of Obamacare although granted I have insurance through work and haven't had to deal with it. My first reaction is that is was a huge giveaway to the insurance industry. But I digress....

We may disagree, but health care in this country is a huge scam. I'm a healthy guy, use my insurance for dental and vision and that's it. Still pay $900+ per month. When you weren't required to have insurance and something bad happened and you had to go to the ER, other people pay for it through higher premiums.

IMHO, health care should be a human right in the US, as it is in every other 1st world country. Why should the poor person with a terminal illness not be allowed the same level of care as the person with the money for treatments? When our health care in this country is profit-based, the people with means get the most benefit, while the people without just die. Even lacking single payer, costs are ridiculous. I took my son to the ER over the holidays as he has been dealing with sinusitis and had some difficulty breathing. 1 hour, a nebulizer and sent home. $1200 bucks. That's some straight up bullshit. So whether you like Obamacare or not, the health care industry needs a serious smackdown. Capitalism is not the answer to everything.

I know right? I pay taxes to the federal government and have public land to hunt on. Why should the poor person who doesn't pay taxes be able to use that land too? He didn't pay. We should probably do something about that.

Given all the douche bags I encounter every day in this country, its even more impressive!

You're supposed tax them when they stop breathing ya dingaling.

I like the last thing he had to say on public lands I am not going to trust trump to live up to his word he is a bigger flip flopper then his old buddy Hillary Clinton.

Just saw a Trump campaign guy comment on how Trump would balance budget in 8 yrs today on a news/no-info show.
He mentioned selling surplus Gov. buildings, land, and with leasing & extraction industry on public lands. The guy was a former Carson campaign manager so........
Course the Drumpf will be correcting his misspeak again by tomorrow & the next day & again the next....

The bad thing about Trump is that we don't know for sure what we are going to get, but that may also be the good thing about Trump.

The only good thing about Hillary/Bernie/Cruz is that we know what we are going to get....the same old, same old...only w/ Bernie we get free college and unabashed socialism along w/ the same old, same old....so vote for one of these three and expect nothing good to happen(look at the last 8 yrs)....

I am willing to take a chance that Trump will stir things up and put America back to work. I can respect Trump and his ability to tell the press, yes, I did say that, but after becoming more informed on the subject have changed my stance....Trump is not the polished career politician the others are....that alone makes him more vote worthy in my estimation.

What are your concerns with the last 8 years?

I am much better off than I was in September 2008 when the Bush/Cheney regime had destroyed our economy.

My investments/assets are WAAAAAAY up from where they were under the Bush/Cheney regime.

I drive around town and see "help wanted" signs EVERYWHERE. I drove by a utility trailer manufacturer that was offering $19/hr for metal workers and wood guys. $20+ for welders.

If voters "vote their pocketbooks", they would be crazy not to want more of the last 8 years.

I think, perhaps, you might protest too much???

I agree. There seems to be no shortage of work available, my quality of life has improved greatly, and the evil boogyman Obama has not come to take my guns as some would suggest.
