Our lab had a run in with a skunk last night. He smells worse than the skunk now. Any home remedies for getting rid of the smell? Good thing it’s warm outside now, because he’s lost his inside privileges.

This works. Might take a couple goes but it worksBaking soda dish soap hydrogen peroxide keep them equal parts or close. Don’t go heavy with the hydrogen peroxide like I did I turned my black dog red.
I had this mix written on the garage wall for years. It works.Mix 1 quart hydrogen peroxide, ¼ cup baking soda, and 1 teaspoon dish-washing liquid. This should be for 30 - 50lb dog, double everything if necessary for larger dog.
DO NOT store in sealed container after mixing ingredients!
Don't mess with cleaning the collar, especially if its fabric material. Just pitch it & get a new one.
