Stumbled upon these at a local shop....couldn't say no at that price....

So according to the packaging they are good for any firearm......

They micrometer the same as a Large Rifle primer...

I guess I'll load up 10 rounds or so and compare the results to a CCI 200?

They make rifles in pistol calibers, maybe thats what the box is referring to? You'll find out when you seat them. At that price, why not buy em?

I have shot 800 of their small pistol (4.4) and 300ish of the large pistol with no issues. Would definitely buy again, especially at that price.----R

I would not use large pistol primers in a rifle. The opposite direction should be safe.

I like S&B rifle primers. If anyone has any for large rifle, I’d love a pm.

Pistol is magazine fed.
Interesting. The official Oxford/Websters definition for pistol is any weapon that is designed to be shot with one hand. Apparently ATF has decided that is a "handgun" and arbitrarily labeled any handgun with a fixed chamber as a "pistol." Who woulda thunk it.

Upper right corner of the package says rifle, pistol, and revolver....kind of funny, but for $40/1000 I'll give it a whirl.
If it says rifle, use them in your rifle. I love their large rifle primers.
