But we need more advocates right? I mean all that means we're heading in the right direction! I can't wait until I get to put for a special draw camping permit! Woo hooo!

STOP HAVING KIDS!

A few more months and we start seeing the covid babies, right?

Or, and hear me out, OTC human tags. Population control and all.
back when I was a bigger ahole in high school and college, I used to advocate for involuntary sterilization. A China-like two child policy as a compromise? We legitimately have too many damn people and need to sort out that issue. It is the root of all these other issues we're always fighting and bitchin' about.

Luckily, my psychopathic comments are tongue-in-cheek. China's attempts at regulation population have been a mess.

I live in the Lake of the Ozarks area of Missouri. In March we noticed an influx of people at our wells, I take care of privately owned water systems that are for condos and homeowners associations and such. Numbers went up in March and have stayed at record highs for water use. All manner of plates, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Kansas are most common out of state plates. School is starting soon and I’ve talked to friends in administration at the local schools and enrollment is up, people are staying down. Lots of second homes down here and I guess people are moving for the laid back approach we have to life. Homes are bout doubled in value, and seldom last more than 5-10 days on the market. Crazy!

I think there will be a lot of screaming deals on boats, travel trailers, side by sides, ect in 2 to 3 years when the people buying them this summer on credit, stop making payments because they are broke. This insanity is not going to end well.

To extend that thought I hope a guy can draw a tag again, after all these snowfkakes, and adult onset hunters realize the message boards, and outdoor channels don't show the blood, sweat, and strike outs that come with real life.

Its getting a bit ridiculous.

Could be.

As someone who lives in Florida, south Florida specifically, and has watched population here continue to boom for many years (not to mention the yearly snowbird influx), I have no sympathy for any of you. Have you seen the size of our deer down here!?!?

The saga of the Byrde family will soon be coming to an end after Netflix renewed Ozark for an expanded fourth and final season.

The drama, which stars Jason Bateman, Laura Linney and Julia Garner, has been renewed for 14 final episodes with the season split into two seven-episode parts.

The new season will mark the final chapter in the Byrde family’s journey from suburban Chicago life to their criminal enterprise in the Ozarks, particularly after that season three ending.

Bateman plays Marty Byrde, a financial advisor-turned-money launderer for a Mexican drug cartel, who moves to the Lake of the Ozarks to make good for the cartel. Linney stars as his wife Wendy, who becomes wrapped up in a series of schemes, including casino operations in season three. Cast returning includes Garner, who plays Ruth Langmore, the Byrde’s younger consigliere, Sofia Hublitz as Charlotte Byrde, Skylar Gaertner as Jonah Bryde, Charlie Tahan as Ruth’s cousin Wyatt Langmore and Lisa Emery as local heroin distributor Darlene Snell.

It's like that in the Adirondacks, too. Possibly worse. I've driven by popular trailheads and seen well over 100 cars lined up along the roads and even the deserted, obscure trail heads have 7 or 8 cars. Never seen anything like it. The one or two major trailheads that you used to have to get to before 8:00 for parking are now before 5:00 The canoe country has way more families out there, but no bigger summer camp groups, so they almost seem normal. If you really want solitude, it's still easy as pie to find, just get off the trails. I can't blame any of them, but I sure am ready for it to end... I doubt it will have any effect on deer season, but I could see it being harder to get a good spot for duck hunting, or upland in certain areas.

My wife and I hiked Colden a few weeks ago from heart lake. Obviously I've spent to much time in CO because I thought it was basically devoid of people lol.

Also no one yelled at me for having my dog off leash, so it's possible that colored my entire experience.

I hope you are right Bighorn. Montana has been overrun this summer.
Its a bummer.

It's like that in the UP this summer too. I really think this corona virus has people retreating to the outdoors and public lands for entertainment and potential safety. I wonder if this virus social distancing thing is actually going to freshen peoples opinions and need for public lands.

It makes total sense to me, lakes are packed due to majority of swimming pools being closed. Cant go watch a movie or do anything of that nature. No weekend concerts or festivals of any sort. What else to people have to do on the weekend???

If you think what you are getting is bad, you should see I70 west on a Friday in ski season :)
100% agree. Plenty of Friday afternoon conference calls have been made from I70 while trying to get ahead of the ski rush. Telecommuting from Frisco each winter is definitely one of my life goals.
