DIY crappie jigs

I know they are cheap to buy but I thought it would be fun making some. I used squirrel tail and pheasant feather. I want to use the white hair from a deer tail also.

Have you used them yet? I use to make olive green crappie jigs for ice fishing since I couldn't find them to buy.

No I have not tried them. Hopefully soon sometime soon between deer hunting and duck hunting. I just got an itch to try making some and get my 12 year old son involved since he really likes fishing.
