Dave, at the time I didn't know you were going for the neck, but what a seriously brilliant shot you made on a small roe buck!
Just pleased my rifle was zeroed!

Actually, I didn't plan it! That's just where your sticks lined up when I set them and I went for it before he walked enough to have to reset! Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. Kill a few more for me, I got number 2 for the year today. One permit left.

Just when I thought I was getting somewhere on this farm 40+ turned up today.
That is exit wound on buck, took out top of heart and lungs, yearling was neck shot.

Another 3 down, there were 5, missed the 4th, 5th ran off at the first shot
I have traded 2 for hand dived scallops, he also gave me a gallon of cider.
I am having the 3rd one for myself.
Once he can get out (weather is too rough) he will give me lobsters and crab.
6.5x55 120g TTSX did the job
