Well Folks, I was typing out Silent Auction lists and Signs and Buckets and organizing stuff Friday till 1:30 AM. 7:30 AM I was At the Banquet hall setting up Displays, Moving in large Items making more signs getting stuff in order and hitting it hard !! (NOTE: I most definatley wasn't the only one by any means, Alot of people did A LOT of stuff But I'm setting up my story so bear with me
). I made it home at 3PM to take a Quick shower and back to the Floor at 3:45. From 3:45PM till about 12:30 or 1AM last night is a Blur....(I think cuz I was Always Moving, Not because I was drunk
)

I had alot of fun and Met alot of people. I got to see new Folks and see old friends too. I sure as heck didn't take any Pictures. I'm not sure if I ever Stopped long enough to get any taken ;)

Lets get a Shout out from the Peanut Gallery that showed up if it went OK. And did Anyone stop to take a Picture ?

Thanx Everyone that showed up and helped too !!

LOL, NO, I remember everyone I met, It was like a Wirlwind though. I also know you were NOT there. Or didn't introduce yourself at least

Ithink, Someone remind me again :0) Wyleecoyote76/wife, Mojave, Ovis, Gunner, Poinhter, Randy, ElkTurd, Killa-bee, (And gang) and My wife and.... (Here I go again probably forgetting someone, But it's not PAWS for sure ;)

I met IdahoNative from Monster Mulies and ...JiminIdaho from 24hour campfire.

Someone I missed though was Youngbuck, maybe he didn't show ?!?

I had a good time at the DHI banquet last night. I apologize I didn't get off my duffer and introduce myself to more of the gang. I was very impressed with the food....very tasty at that. Overall it was a great success. I won an Eastman's video from the door prize raffle which was nice - watched it at 5 a.m. this morning after I got home from work. I had to leave early to pick up the chitlins and head back to work so I didn't get to stay for the raffles on all those great prizes to be had.

If anybody won any cool stuff, let us know. I wish now I would have bid on the Kifaru pack. My wife told me AFTER the dinner that I could have put a bid on it. $180 bucks for a Kifaru pack seems pretty cheap IMO. I look forward to next year and know Moosie will do a great job as El Presidente' of DHI. Two thumbs up from me.

I had a good time and it was nice to add to the list of faces to go with the names! I at least I know of one other board member (wileycoyote76) with less hair than me! ;) I would've probably gotten that Kifaru pack if Moosie would've kept encouraging people to up the bet!! Heck, I bid against myself 3 times then finally someone pushed me past the level that forgiveness from the wife was possible!!!

1_Pointer, I was hoping Moosie would have brought the HuntTalk hats so that I would have had something to cover up the old noggin. I do have a black beanie but I am sure I would have received some strange looks. You should have just bought the pack and asked for forgiveness later. If she did kick you out at least you would have something to put your clothes and accessories in. HA HA HA!!

I did get pics but have been experiencing technical difficulties with my computer. Hopefully I get them up before anyone fails to care anymore.

I tried to introduce myself to a few new faces there and was glad to run into a few old ones. Umm that sounded mean didn't it? As always 1-pointer is a hoot. My boy Wylee was as charming as always, but I was on my best behavior since his in-laws were there too ;) Mike and Tara kept me company most of the night and even offered me a prize they couldn't use themselves. Wilecoyote76 and his wife seemed very nice too but you guys were awfully quiet. Come to think of it, everyone seemed a bit subdued compared to last year. I guess without our fearless leader sitting with us and egging us on, we are not nearly as loud and goofy as we can be. Y'all I propose we work on that for the future.

So here are the pics from the banquet. There would have been more but...(note to self, next time bring the NOT-BROKEN camera)

Nope, my hubby works every Saturday so he can't come to anything fun. The one sitting next to me is 1-pointer.

The pic above that BTW is Tara and her husband Mike.

And if anyone doesn't know who is in the first pic, ummm you haven't been here very long.

Nut- I was meeting a guy from another board there as well. I can just imagine the confusion if I said, look for someone near the bar in a hunttalk.com hat! :D

Kiwi- Should I be mad if you're calling me a bugga?? ;)

Was that smile caused by the cute young thing hiding in the podium?? :D Remember, I was there to set up, I got to see the trap door on the stage! ;)
