deleting posts???Delw?

I answered a couple questions to one of my posts, and then realised i forgot one question and made another post right after the one i just did.
Then i though it looked dumb and decided i should delete the last post and add the info to the first post but the delete option was not there. what gives?

Oh you have to edit the post then when you open the edit window you will see where it asks if you want to delete the post its a yes or no answer.

Why was the delete option removed? Sometimes in the heat of the moment you type things you wish you wouldn have. Now you can't delete it?

I discovered this before my big computer crash that took me offline for a while...since the new format, I couldn't delete posts that I had made, then changed my mind about or got better information on. I did get a warning message that only an administrator could delete posts. I did however, edit out the part that I thought was offensive on my own post...hence, a post with a blank. Heck...I don't know either!
