NiceNot a rag horn
Reviving this old thread, I just shot my first bull last week. He’s not a giant but he’s a trophy to me and that will never change. I’m just curious if he’s considered a raghorn by you more seasoned elk hunters. He’s definitely not long or very wide, but he’s a 6x6, dark horns. I’m not sure he’s over 300” though due to length. Colorado btwNice
Nice bull! I would be very happy with one like that.Reviving this old thread, I just shot my first bull last week. He’s not a giant but he’s a trophy to me and that will never change. Thank you sir! I’m super proud of him and always will be. Didn’t get tape on him before I dropped him off at the Taxidermist. I was just googling and this old thread popped up, very interesting opinions from everyone.Nice bull! I would be very happy with one like that.

Im not a seasoned elk hunter by any means, so im just curious if he’d fall in the category of raghorn or not by yall.
I lean towards him being a “large raghorn” if that even exists, but again, that classification doesn’t matter. He’s getting mounted anyways lol I forgot to pop out a tooth for aging but asked the Taxi to help me out with that when they cape his skull
