Dang heck of a nice whitetail, I’m going to be hunting montana this year I have the general combo deer and elk tag. I have been kinda interested in chasing whitetail with my tag since I have yet to kill one. Did you kill yours on private or public? And during rifle or archery?

Two hours into the first sit of the year and I'm done for 2022. I can only guess it was a gift from my grandpa that passed away a few weeks ago. He'd would've been the first phone call I made when I got back to the truck. He'd have been proud, and I miss the old guy.

I haven't been on Hunttalk in some time but I figured a good way to jump back in is to brag about my kids. My 9 and 11 year old both got a buck this past weekend in our youth season. My daughters buck is an absolute stud and was very unexpected. I've killed almost 100 whitetails and I've only killed one bigger in 25 years.
