Put a long stalk on this guy on Saturday. He was a very old deer on the decline. Quite a trophy to me. Colorado plains muzzleloader.

2017 NM Mulie. First NM hunt. What a great hunt!


2017 TX mulie. I have permission to hunt a few different farm in the area. There are very few deer and most people don’t even realize there are deer in within 100 miles. Over five seasons I’ve never spotted one in this class, but did manage to fill a tag. Something went right in 2017 as I found at least four whoppers!

Took this nice 3x4 on private land as a management buck in Wyoming.We are aggressively trying to reduce this 3 pt population. He has the ancestral canine teeth much like elk's ivories but much smaller.

2018 NM public land. The pictures don’t make him look as big as my ‘17 TX mulie, but he’s actually quite a bit larger. Had 25 minutes left of legal on my last day!

3rd season Colorado muley. First time hunting this unit and on a second choice tag. Also my wife’s first hunt. She was a perfect spotter before and during the shot, giving me ranges and the position of the deer. Pretty great experience we got to share! Unfortunately we did not fill her tag so next year she will be the primary shooter.
