Got my first muley yesterday. 270 yards with my Ruger M77 Mark II .270 Win. I typically hunt whitetails in the western part of the state, but I think more muley trips are in store in the coming years.

We went 4/5 this year for our group. Some included a first mule deer for my buddy’s kid and my buddy’s first deer in 11 years!

Nope I haven't. I thought about and decided to wait until season over. If today doesn't pan out I will because I figure then I will find a critter since I just washed it out and have to spend another 10 dollars to get it clean. And thank you. Both were running stupid.

I don't deserve anything for Xmas. I didn't post my daughter's or her boyfriend's deer. Both taken same weekend as the my son's and mine.

Biologists were posing and taking photos at Bonner Check station. Warden was present, we made sure our tax dollars were well spent during time at check station, Warden earned paycheck sorting through our pick-up stick of legs and antlers.
