Deer - lets see em

2019 ND archery buck
Probably my most memorable packout. 1 trip, 5.5 miles to the truck, not a stitch of wind, snow flakes slowly spiraling to the ground and pitch black out. Listened to the coyotes howl for 3 hours on the hike back. Core memory for me.

Jeeze all great bucks I would be proud to have taken congratulations on all your success

Our 3 month old baby didn't keep my wife from partaking in rifle deer season! My mother-in-law got to town at 3:15 to help baby sit. My wife climbed into the blind at 4pm. The buck hit the ground at 4:35pm.

Edit: Also worth mentioning is the pumping that was taking place during the hunt

Hahaha this resonates with me on so many levels (have two little ones with number 3 due in a matter of weeks). Good for y’all!

Reminds me of the deer I drug my wife out to kill a few years ago over Thanksgiving. Grandma watched the baby, wife sat a grand total of maybe 1 hour, and an old 8 point buck followed us back to the house.
