Myself and two buddies headed out to the mud flats the day after Xmas. With the cold, dry weather we'd been having, we knew the hunting would be "good". After a gorgeous sunrise, the 21st duck was added to the bag just a mere two hours later. Then it was time to pick up the decoys, hike back to the boat and head back to town for a hot breakfast. The bag was comprised of 12 mallards, eight drake widgeon and a bull pintail.
