Muleyslyr the second buck looked good enough to shoot but I let him go after I got a look at his side view. He was kinda screwed up with some broken tines. Thanks for the kudo's my daughter is still impressed and her buck grossed 161 but it's going to take a kicking in deductions.

powder....where were you guys about? Just curious cause I finally got to visit Alberta this year on my way up to High Level for a Moose hunt. Unbelievable country both ways we took.

Headed straight north from Seattle and through Prince George on up. Way back came through Edmonton....(dropped off heads at Alberta Taxi. ) and down across the Rockies towards Kamloops. Amazing drive either way.

I've seen that behavior before. The buck your daughter shot might have been spending his time dominating and pounding on the other buck. Rat's revenge from the bottom of the pecking order. Congrats to your daughter.
