Thanks for the well wishes! It was a day that will be treasured.

It was midday nap time and I woke up and decided to glass. This lone bull popped up a half mile away. I woke up the kids and schemed a stalk.

We ended up at 300 yards from a broadside oblivious elk. The daughter got set up on her 7-08 and put three right behind the shoulder.

After pics we boned it out and had a heavy pack out. Between the three of us we got it all in one trip!
