I've reread all 10 pages of this again and I am still shaking my head. There are only two people in the world that can answer this question. They are the only two that can guide you through your venture to seek out the forbidden (possibly dried up) fruit. At 25 I got involved with an absolute fox who was 36. She was such a sexy tease it wouldn’t have mattered if she was 50. I was obsessed. As time went on I found out she had multiple sugar daddies, at least one of whom was married.

She definitely had the best of both worlds figured out: grandpas with money + young muscles. She even introduced me to some of the sugar daddies. She could get away with anything and we all knew it.

I laugh when I hear the term “love triangle”. This was origami.

I finally broke out of that chaos. I was in denial about being used. She picked out another young gun in short order.

Years later I get a call: “Hey my girlfriend had to cancel our weeklong resort trip in Maine. You wanna take her spot? It’s fully paid. We could catch up on life, and there’s all kinds of “activities” to do.”

That was probably the hardest “No” of my life. But in hindsight maybe it would have been worth flying into that web one last time after all. Who knows.

At 32 I got married to a woman my age, and now we have 3 kids. The end.

Moral of the story, Douglas: F*** the naysayers and follow your heart.

Maybe you’ll crash and burn, but maybe not. You’ll never know if you don’t get on that vintage train. You can get off at any time, and you’ve got years before thinking of settling down. You could even ask her to punish you for making misogynistic and racist statements.
