I just brought my Britt home from 3 months in initial bird training. We are trying to get back into a normal routine but I'm also mindful on needing to keep those skills sharp. I live in a major city, so aside from city parks and neighborhood greenspaces, not a lot of areas for off check cord work. I'm thinking of doing on cord steady retrieving drills in the mornings to make sure she stays steady to fall and release. What do you guys do with your dogs?

Blind retrieves on land and in water, live duck searches, field searches, tracks/drags, blood tracks…
Following...have my first gun dog also in a city. We do a lot of check cord work in the yard and the close by green spaces...interested to see what ideas others here suggest.
I'm fortunate to have some public ground to wander that's not too far off.
