Caribou Gear

Dad gear

Burley trailer for walking and biking.

Kelty backpack carrier for hikes. We got both our daughters up 10 peaks their first year. Once they were old enough they LOVED drinking from a camelbak when in the backpack.

I had a different brand front carrier than in your picture but my oldest loved it as a baby. I felt like a pregnant lady she was on me so much. Lot of bonding time, miss it some days.

Just ordered this to take the new baby out this season. Gotta get a Kelty kid carrier used my old one alot but gave it away because I thought I was done with it. What's some "dad gear" yall found useful?
That just needs a bino pouch on it!

We had a three wheeled stroller (small bike size tires) we used on improved trails a lot. It had bicycle brakes on it so it was great. I like the trailer idmt had.
I've hauled a few quarters out down gated roads with ours after the kids outgrew it.

If you get snow in your area I like the Thule cougar with the skis and harness attachment. Also has bike attachment as well.

If you bike and your bike has a different axle you can get one that accepts the bike trailer attachment and fits bike at the “Robert axle project”

Also, once they are close to two or so you need to get a shotgun seat for your bike. My kids love it.

Been thinking about one of these for the new grandson! Got a nice place to talk a walk off the beaten path, we'll have him off for a few days several times this spring and summer, sure beats a weighted backpack for helping get in shape for the fall too!

fyi they can face out earlier than six months. depends on their size and progress with head/neck control.

i strongly recommend nicotine and antidepressants as part of your routine assemblage of "dad gear."

i also bought some leicas to make me feel better.

I had one of those and never used it. Still sitting above my hunting gear in the garage. Need to sell or donate it to someone with a baby. My youngest is 3 now.
