CVA Paramount Pro V2

Does anyone have any opinions on the CVA Paramount Pro V2 .45? Seriously considering getting one of these, would love to hear from some guys that have some firsthand experience with it.

I know it's very pricey for a muzzleloader but in the market for a long range muzzy and don't want to cough up the money for an Arrowhead muzzy or something similar quite yet. Figured this seemed to be the next best, curious to see what you guys think! Thanks!

Is that the one they discontinued because they blew up?

They are currently discontinued. I was told by CVA a new version of the V2 may be out this winter

I've been doing some research on that, and it seems like its a little iffy on if that happened or not? Some people were saying it was a law firm that got a hold of that and blew it out of proportion. Maybe that it happened to a couple, but it was operator error instead of the guns fault? I'm not really sure what the true story is with that, maybe someone on here is more familiar with that story.

I thought they were making them again, they stopped production for a while but then started up again.

Custom 45cal. 700 S/A and Rock Creek barrel with an LR Customs brake.
We shoot using BH209 twice a year at Camp Atterbury, IN. Summer is 5 relays. 800yds, 900yds and 3 relays at 1,000yds.
Fall shoot is 5 relays, all at 1,000yds.
This rifle is smokeless capable also...... Sends a 350gr XLD at 3,000fps
