Custom rifle gunsmith?

I'm collecting the parts to build a light hunting Rem Model 7 in 300wsm. Proof, Badger Ordnance, Manners, etc. My local longtime gunsmith passed earlier this year, and the only other bolt gun shop I've used was Short Action Customs years ago. SAC was great, but it wasn't a full build, just a bolt knob install. Are they still good? Any HT guys I need to know about?

I think you said last time you were here was the late 80s? Its exploded since then, we got one of the floatin' roads to get to Reno now.

1988 to 1999. Need to come back for a visit. Loved Nevada. Hunted devil birds, deer and went on an elk hunt with a friend. Lots of waterfowl interestingly. Tons of fishing. mtmuley
