Always wanted a custom made hunting knife for ages, finally found one today at the Calgary gun show. Damascus and stabilized wood and I was sold. Guys who have gone with one of a kind knives, what style/materials did you go for?

Been interested in custom knives for a while and so I began researching putting one together. This is a first or hopefully a few in the future - my 8 year old helped make it, it’s his first hunting knife.
I also make my own.
I’m a stock removal/grinder knife maker not a forger, so Damascus is not up my alley. That’s a totally different skill set.
My knives are all hand made, and they show file, and quench marks, but they are quality knives. I also make the sheaths too.
