Sounds like a possible nasty one rolling across the states the next couple of days. Supposed to roll over us tomorrow night. Local weather is calling for wind gusts of up to 70 or 80 with some pockets even higher. Time to get everything inside and buttoned up tight. Hope it's not too bad for those of us in the path.

Missouri and Iowa now, of course it will be dark when it gets here. Winds right now are 30+. Once I get dinner off the grill I can get everything closed up and hunker down.

Watched the dust storm roll into OKC around 10am. 50 car pile up on I40 near Amarillo caused by low visibility from dust. Wind is absolutely ripping and fires have started popping off not a good recipe.

National news showed several semis getting blown over.

Hit here hard last night. 40-60mph and snow.
Hit 80 on the east side of state.
Wildfire in Wagon Mound now,evacuations.

Next one is on us and more snow tonight, winds down. For now.

Another round next week.

Have seen a number of trees and big branches fall while out hiking with the dog. Wind is really ripping. Hope I don't lose power. Dog and I are on back porch waiting for the storm. Should be here in an hour.
