Thanks for being the better person and erring on the side of common sense by not asking to press charges. Sounds like mental illness, but who knows…the criminalization of that or drug addiction doesn’t solve anything.

Disagree. It does the mentally impaired person no good by giving likely yet another pass. Requiring accountability for poor decisions and unlawful actions is what results in forcing treatment and actually helping the person turn the corner to a better life!
