With the passage of SB24-026 last year, CPW Commissioners are required to have a minimum of 2 public meetings per year to directly engage the public. They must have at least one on each side of the divide, unless one or more is virtual. I'll try to post notices of meetings here as I see them.

Murphy Robinson
You’re warmly invited to a Hunter & Angler Happy Hour hosted by Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commissioner Murphy Robinson. This informal gathering is an excellent opportunity for hunters and anglers to connect directly with Commissioner Robinson, who proudly represents your voice on the CPW Commission.

Very interesting on the two invites. I wonder which one will have more fishing/hunting users attend?

Interesting. I didn’t think Otera was capable of attending anything in person.
I actually spoke with him during a break at the last meeting in Denver. He's surprisingly well-spoken considering how little he speaks during the Commission meetings. They can't all be as outspoken as Robinson, but Otero could certainly speak up more often on behalf of hunters.

Heck, I didn’t think he could speak. Sure hasn’t ever used his voice to speak on behalf of hunters and anglers at commission meetings.

Pretty awesome what Robinson is doing though. Shows how engaged a commissioner can be if they appoint folks who actually represent their constituents.
