CPW 2026 Strategic Plan Input

I just got an email from COW asking for input on their 10 year strategic plan for 2026-20236.

I’m not too hopeful for the future of hunting in Colorado. The “Who’s Listening” list (I.e. those who will screen the results) lists people from Prosono and The Equity Project. No sportsman’s organizations.

Prosono is a social engineering scoring company and The Equity Project is totally focused on DEI.

I’m going to provide input, but the political climate in Colorado already points to hunters not being welcome and this group looks to make a bad situation worse. Maybe I’m over reacting.

I encourage everyone who gets this invitation to respond with the strongest pro-hunting, pro-second amendment responses you can.

i suspect those consultants have more to do with creating the literal document and all its fancy colors, pictures, and big inclusive words.

Hopefully the next governor is more pro hunting. Per my inside source, three of the four potential gubernatorial candidates are all better for us than Polis.

I filled out my survey. I think it is important that you select some of the categories that represent hunting and fishing, otherwise it may appear that hunting/fishing isn't that important anymore.
