So my friend Shane (hof, on here) and myself usually spend the weekend morning chasing dove, duck, magpies, pheasants and other various wildlife around. Since we are both currently serving the US Air Force and stationed together here in South Korea we have become good friends. If you are wondering I run a program on base to control wildlife around the runway and surrounding areas.

Today was out of this world as shooting game goes. Usually we knock down around 10-15 birds in a couple hours that we go out. Only thing we can't shoot are raptor type birds since they are protected. The motto goes with out saying here, "It flys, it dies, it hops, it drops!"

So here is a picture of a couple of young pups getting it done kinda DIY!

Not quite Montana, but it'll do! ;) Making the best with what you got! There's something that can be hunted about everyone. Just gotta figure it out.
I work at an airport and am over the wildlife program there too, where we control the wildlife around the airfield. Gotta do it for the safety of the aircraft. My friends give me a hard time for getting paid to have fun. Just this week, I shot 3 deer and around 30 doves. Gave the deer away to folks who wanted them, and kept the doves.

Thank you for your service!

Nice, are they Chinese Water Deer?
Cheers
Richard

Yes sir, they are. Very small for us Montanans! But its the best we can do here. We actually got 3 today! I have to track the number of animals killed on base to report to the local city. We are up to about 670 birds/wildlife!

Making the most of a different situation, way to go! Come home safe boys. Looks like a Minnestoa Twins Stocking hat as well, lets hope they have a more exciting 2015.

Thanks for your service. Having Montana hunters keep airstrips safe of wildlife is a good fit I would say. Be safe.

I just got back from Jin Ju, Sacheon City.. It's getting a little nipply over there. You guys keep warm..

Very nice! Most folks will never get the chance to shoot one of those. Kudos on making the best of the situation.
