Agreed. I haven't looked in to what measures SK took in particular, but they appear to be effective.

Too early to tell what we can learn from SK - the bulk of their infected pool was an already socially isolated religious group - its not clear that their steps will translate to larger nations with more diverse infection origins - time will tell

The patient is a woman in her 70s from Lake County in western Montana. She is currently in a hospital in Anne Arundel County in Maryland.

Nothing, and I mean nothing, is scarier, than a toilet paper shortage.

Of all things this is the most annoying. Just got home from Walmart after having an almost full on argument with the gf in the toilet paper isle that we don’t need toilet paper because we bought toilet paper last time and we don’t need more just because everyone is buying it.

We bought more of course but I have plenty of worn out socks I’ll use before we open that pack of toilet paper.

I'm not gonna speculate one way or another because I'm not a specialist and even then I don't think they fully know because of how new this thing is. The podcasts posted on the thread today were very enlightening and interesting it makes a guy think. This obviously is very serious not many things shut an global economy down like this matter of fact in my 32 years I can't think of anything I've been around for.

At the end of the day I'll read my kids a story kiss them goodnight and go to bed ready for the day to come tomorrow. I'm not above anything but until I'm told otherwise I've got a family to support and love and a 2020 season of adventure to look forward to. Coronavirus or not there's plenty of disease out there doing way worse than this SOB.

I can't believe the shit my kids are coming home saying from school that they heard one of the other kids saying their parents told them..... it's unreal.

I’m getting way off track, but my son came home from school last week and told me that a kid in his class believes the world is flat and the kid says so does his mom. There’s a lot of stupid people in this world.
