Do they buy old scopes as well, or just refurbish for people? I’ve got a couple early 80’s Bushnell that could end up in a box headed that way?I live about 15 minutes from them. Have a few scopes myself I have thought about taking in to them. mtmuley
Not sure. I haven't contacted them yet. They show scopes for sale, so seems like they would buy scopes to refurbish. mtmuleyDo they buy old scopes as well, or just refurbish for people? I’ve got a couple early 80’s Bushnell that could end up in a box headed that way?
I would consider this a rather modern scope, actually, but why not just use it?View attachment 356355View attachment 356356View attachment 356357View attachment 356358Is there any market for vintage old glass like this? I just took it off a pre 64 model 70 in 300 win mag I just purchased. It’s a clear, cool old glass; I’m just not sure what to do with it. Keep it around for another rifle or are there folks out there that actively seek these old vintage scopes?
Why not take it apart and clean it yourself? A nice little project. Replacing crosshairs is also easily done.I would love to get my this old Marlin Micro-Vue restored (glass is hazy inside) to put back on my late dad’s Marlin 80.

I had a Zeiss V4 sitting around that needed a home and it better suited for what I ultimately want out of this rifle. This Weaver could be yours if you want it, let me know!I would consider this a rather modern scope, actually, but why not just use it?

I like old scopes and have a handful or two of them. They work quite well. Frankly, modern scopes are way over hyped. You really don't need much to make a good shot.
