Colorado unit 50/501/500 Deer

Thanks for the welcome. I have enjoyed reading your posts for years, thought maybe I would contribute something.Matt good luck on your hunt, upload a picture if you have any success.

howd the hunt go? Ive killed 3 deer in neighboring units in the last 10 years but they have increased in points needed to draw.

If you guys could help I can give you info on where to kill big bulls in NM. I've killed 4 bulls over 390 and probably another 20 or so over 310 all on public land with my own tags. Either way, I'm definitely moving to unit 50, 500, 501 starting next year.

Pics or I don't believe you...

Anyone on this thread familiar with the ‘navigability’ of the Lost Creek to Goose Creek watershed with a pack raft? Even if you haven’t floated these creeks, your observations would be helpful.

I can see that with the right resources such as two vehicles, this could happen if the 2 rivers are floatable- even if it involves a few pull outs around deadfall or falls.

American Whitewater (AW) doesn’t have anything, but I know pack rafts can get on creeks without AW’s footprint.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Lost Creek is a couple feet wide with lots of shallow riffles from the headwaters through at least east lost park. It is not floatable.
