Time for the yearly family Colorado sabbatical. Loading my hunting buddy Kolter (6) and his big brother Kenny III (8) & heading west this afternoon. They are stoked & so are Eva and I. It's been around 106* & over here the past two weeks. Hard to believe we're packing jackets.

Out the door to purchase some last minute fishing gear....hit you guys with some pics later.

It has been really nice in the Mtns this summer. Cool and rainy til this last week. I bet the brookies are gonna pay for the Texas heat.

I hope you fall in the water and get a case of Teeny Weeny!!!! Have a blast with the Wife and boys, wish I was bringing Mine out west also. They are leaving me next week for Gulf Shores and sitting on a Hot Beach. No Way! John:D

Have a great trip Harley! Take lots of pictures... preferably of more hanging baskets ;)

I'll be headed east tomorrow to visit family. I can't wait to see how fun the drive is with a pregnant (read sick) wife and a 17 month child over the course of 880 miles. Thank goodness the dog is a content passenger... um, except for when you have to use the windshield wipers... or meet/pass a semi... or if she can smell cattle alongside the road... oye.

Once we get there though it will be cool as a cucumber with family and friends for 10 straight days.

sounds like that will be a lot more fun than sticking around here. Enjoy the coolness, the heat will be waiting on you to get back.

...nice trip

...ribeyes and good company.

Shoudn't a Mtn Man be eating elk while in the Mtns?

I would say that buck has a little more than just potential.

Looks like a fine trip..................Kenny.
