Colorado OTC Archery Elk 2020

Sechunter, Can you share any tips on your OTC hunts last year. I'm debating on OTC archery hunt with my son this year.

How'd your hunt go? We hunted there last year 3rd rifle season and found the elk just couldn't get to them in time.

My apologies guys, though I'm sure it is of no substance now, we saw a great bull on private, a spike, and probably 20 cows the entire trip. We went the first week of season and heard one bull bugle in the middle of the night, not entirely sure that it wasn't another hunter. Weather was very mild and it was a fun getaway from the every day flat land lifestyle. I did no sort of elk hunting last season but this year I plan to go OTC in CO if I don't get lucky enough to draw in NM.
