I killed a decent 5x6 in Colorado last Tuesday, hunting the Grand Mesa national forest south or Parachute. My first and only elk to date.
Quite a hoot !

Butchered it up this weekend and made a dandy bunch of italian sausage, breakfast sausage, burger, steaks and loins.
